Anna Minkova, Vice Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, summed up the work of all sectors at a meeting with the deputy heads of districts on social issues.
“In the Year of the Family, increasing access to quality education is the most important thing for every parent. This year, 9 new schools have been opened, and 6 more are at the stage of receiving commissioning certificates. Almost 2,000 educational organizations have improved their material and technical base, updated their equipment, and carried out major repairs in 36 school canteens and 3 gyms,” said Anna Minkova.
Speaking about healthcare, the deputy head of the region stressed that it is important to strengthen the primary care, equip medical institutions with equipment and regularly conduct professional examinations. In 2024, doctors examined almost 2.9 million people.
Anna Minkova noted the work of social protection services in terms of providing support to families and the elderly. Currently, more than 90,000 elderly and disabled people receive home care in the region.
“We continue to provide assistance to orphaned children. On the eve of the New Year, municipalities are handing over the keys to new apartments to them, and more than 5 billion rubles have been allocated for this purpose,” the vice governor said.
The main issue that affects all areas, according to Anna Minkova, is personnel. She emphasized the need to develop early career guidance and additional education. This will help motivate young people to choose priority areas. In 2025, work will continue to attract new specialists in the Zemsky Doctor, Zemsky Paramedic and Zemsky Teacher programs.
