“India-Russia Youth Dialogue” held in New Delhi

On January 12, on the National Youth Day of India coincided with the birthday of the Indian philosopher and public figure Swami Vivekananda, diplomats of the Russian Embassy in India took part in the conference “India-Russia Youth Dialogue”.

The event was organized by India’s National Preparatory Committee for the World Youth Festival jointly with the NSS NSUT Cell.

More than 500 representatives of the two countries joined the dialogue in person and online, including Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government — Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ruslan Khabibov, Head of the International Department of the Organizing Committee of the World Youth Festival in Sochi Yulia Motyakina, Programme Coordinator, NSS NSUT Cell, Dr Praveen Saroha, State Head, NPC Delhi, Anuj Phalswal and other officials.

In their addresses, the speakers underscored the long-standing friendly nature of Russia-India ties, as well as expressed their readiness to promote the development of youth contacts, academic and scientific exchanges.
