The agreement between the governments of Belarus and Vietnam on visa-free travel will enter into force on January 30, 2025. This is reported by Vietnam News Agency, a partner of the TV BRICS network.
The agreement will allow citizens of both countries to enter, leave, transit and stay visa-free for a period not exceeding 30 days per visit. The total length of stay is no more than 90 days per year.
According to the news agency, this step is aimed at strengthening ties between Minsk and Hanoi in the fields of culture, tourism and economy.
The document was signed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yevgeny Shestakov and his Vietnamese counterpart Le Thi Thu Hang in Hanoi on December 8, 2023.
