In 2025, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of our bilateral strategic partnership, and all these years the interaction between the leaders of our countries has been regular on the basis of annual bilateral summits.
Russia and India are jointly advocating for strengthening the central role of the United Nations, promoting multipolarity, and reforming global governance, and are actively working in the expanded BRICS, SCO, and G20.
For India, as an importer of hydrocarbons, the stability of supply based on the “price—quality” indicator is of strategic importance. Russia, like no other country, meets this criterion. There is no better offer on the global market right now.

Currently, Glavkosmos JSC and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) identify three main areas in their joint work: manned space programs (including the Indian Gaganian mission), engine building and satellite navigation.
Tourist exchanges continue to develop dynamically. Starting from August 1, 2023, Indian citizens will be able to apply for single electronic visas for short-term trips to Russia. In 2024, more than 32,000 such visas were issued. We expect that their popularity will only grow.
