During the monitoring of the electoral campaign in the Republic of Tajikistan, long-term CIS observers continue to hold meetings with the election headquarters of political parties participating in the elections.
On February 13, 2025, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS N.Seitimov held a meeting with the leadership of the Party of Economic Reforms of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Deputy Chairman of the Economic Reform Party, M. Fayzullo, spoke about the course of the election campaign, pointing out that the necessary conditions had been created for its conduct. He also outlined the main points of the election program of all 13 candidates included in the party’s election list.
A meeting was also held with the Chairman of the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan, R. Latifzoda. The parties discussed the specifics of the current election campaign and the principles of the work of international observers. R. Latifzoda spoke about the strict observance of legislation by party representatives during campaigning events. He also noted that the activities of the CIS Observer Mission play an important role in ensuring truly open, transparent and free elections.
