On February 11, in Bangalore, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov visited the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, where he had a meeting with its Secretary General Prof Shashidhar Rao.
A tour of the permanent exhibitions presented in the museum and exhibition complex, including paintings by Nicholas and Svetoslav Roerich, took place.
Denis Alipov underscored the significance of Russian-Indian joint work to preserve the Roerichs’ heritage, which serves as one of the binders between the two nations.
The parties agreed to continue dialogue on issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
