On February 13, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bratislava hosted a lecture by the famous Slovak historian A.Grnko, dedicated to the first Slavic enlighteners and preachers of Christianity, equally revered in Russia and Slovakia – Saints Cyril and Methodius, Equal-to-the-Apostles.

The lecture attracted the attention of cultural scientists, politicians, diplomats, representatives of the clergy and the public. The audience had the opportunity to ask A.Grnko questions of interest, as well as to consider a photo exhibition from the collection of the State Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg), which was opened in the RCSC hall and related to the topic of the meeting.

The event, dedicated to the Saints’ Day (February 14), is organized by the Russian House together with the public organization Cyrilophodiada and the PRO PATRIA Foundation and opens a series of lectures on historical topics under the unifying title “Walking through our Past.”
