The Head of Rostrud Mikhail Ivankov and the Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan Gulnora Hasanzoda signed a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation on labor inspection and employment promotion during the visit of the official delegation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Russian Federation.
“We are always open to bilateral cooperation and hope that cooperation with the Republic of Tajikistan on labor inspection and employment promotion will be multifaceted, fruitful and will benefit the citizens of our countries in the field of respect for the rights and interests of employees and employers, as well as have a positive impact on improving the availability and quality of services provided by the employment service,” the head of Rostrud Mikhail Ivankov reported.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in a wide range of areas, including organizing the activities of the state labor inspectorate and improving the quality of services provided by the state employment service to employers, unemployed and job-seeking citizens; state control and supervision of compliance with labor law, including safety and labor protection requirements; investigation of industrial accidents; introduction of information technology in the work of the inspection labor and employment services, etc.
Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to exchange experience, legislative and regulatory documents, as well as the results of scientific research in the field of labor and employment. The participants also agreed to hold joint events on the territory of Russia and Tajikistan, including consultations, meetings, seminars and conferences and other events.
