Thanks to this, the Active Longevity project has acquired the status of one of the priority projects for our government.
⠀⠀Along with working-class Russians, in the turmoil of weekdays, it is sometimes impossible to allocate time for their interests, self-development, meeting with family and friends, and sometimes even for a home life that no one has canceled, people who have “worked their way” have an excellent opportunity to join modern life, thanks to such a significant project.
The main objectives of the Active Longevity project are the adaptation of the older generation in the life of society, a decent and active life, as well as, of course, a healthy lifestyle.
⠀⠀The project, which started in 2015 in Primorsky Krai, involves all regions of the Russian Federation. The concept of “Active longevity” is to consider the life of the older generation as the potential of modernity, because longevity is economic, social, physical, as well as psychological well-being.
⠀⠀The project was launched in the capital in 2018, which allowed Moscow pensioners
to attend classes of interest in cultural centers, schools, parks and many other institutions for free. The older generation showed great interest in participating in the “Active Longevity”, in which everyone found themselves: you can go in for sports or find a new hobby, go to advanced training courses or even learn a language, get behind the wheel or try yourself in some craft.
