In connection with the detentions and trials of Russian citizens in recent months on charges of allegedly unlawful use of unmanned aerial vehicles, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, R. Kvile, was summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 28 November this year. He was told that such practices were inadmissible.

It was noted that the sentences against the Russians were politically motivated and had nothing to do with the principles of fair and impartial justice.

They called on the Norwegian authorities to refrain from such Russophobic actions and persecution of Russian citizens based on their national identity.
