Experts from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states held a consultation in Moscow on November 28 to discuss improvement of mechanisms for countering security challenges and threats to the SCO member states.
The meeting was opened by O. Syromolotov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in charge of international cooperation in the fight against terrorism. Participants engaged in an open and productive dialogue on topical issues of cooperation.
The consultations were conducted in an emphasized friendly and constructive atmosphere, allowed the representatives of the national delegations to compare their positions and agree on joint steps to combat challenges and threats to the security of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member States in the near future.
