Approved lists of standards for poultry meat and poultry products

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has approved lists of standards for the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union “On the safety of poultry meat and processed poultry products” which enters into force from January 1, 2023.

The list of standards, the application of which on a voluntary basis provides compliance with technical regulations, includes 76 standards, of which 30 intergovernmental and 46 national (state) standards of EAEC countries.

The list of standards containing rules and methods of research (tests) and measurements, including sampling rules necessary for the application and implementation of the requirements of technical regulations, includes 266 documents. Among them 165 interstate standards, 63 national (state) standards, as well as 38 certified methods (included prior to the development of relevant interstate standards and their inclusion in this list).

Lists of standards were developed by the Commission together with the state bodies of the EEU countries with the participation of experts and representatives of the business community.

The decision of the Collegium of EEC comes into force 30 calendar days after its official publication.
