On December 13, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in Moscow Mohammed Sirraj at his request.
During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on topical aspects of the Middle East and African agenda. Special attention was paid to the discussion of the ongoing political process in Sudan in the context of the signing on December 5 of this year by the country’s military leadership and a number of parties and civil society associations of the framework agreement.
They also discussed some issues of further development of Russian-Sudanese relations, including building up mutually beneficial economic and humanitarian cooperation.
