From 2023, the fuel tax will be abolished in Norway

The government’s proposal to abolish the main tax on petroleum products from January 1, 2023 was adopted by parliament, the Ministry of Finance writes in a press release.

Fuel prices have risen sharply by 2022. Many households and businesses face high fuel prices.

According to Norwegian Finance Minister Trygve Slugsvold, the reduction of fuel taxes will help to ease the daily lives of households and businesses a little and will be of great importance, especially for the construction industry.
