Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (lower house of parliament) of Tajikistan approved a number of financial agreements on the eve.
On December 14, a regular meeting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the sixth convocation was held in Dushanbe, the press service of the lower house of the country’s parliament reports.
The deputies discussed and adopted a grant agreement (special operations) between Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank on the project “Sustainability of the road network — additional financing”, a financing agreement (an investment project in the water supply and sanitation sector of Tajikistan) between Tajikistan and the International Development Association.
A financing agreement (a project to improve water resources and irrigation management in Tajikistan) between the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Development Association, a grant agreement (a project to improve water resources and irrigation management in Tajikistan) between the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association were also adopted.
The agreements were presented to the deputies by Deputy Finance Minister of Tajikistan Yusuf Majidi, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Agrarian Issues, Land and Water Resources Rustam Latifzoda, deputies Bakhtiyor Ahmadzoda and Zulfikor Gulmakhmadzoda.
