The Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan has ratified agreements with Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan on emergency response

The deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan have adopted the ratification of two agreements of Kazakhstan in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations. The documents were previously signed with the governments of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, the correspondent of MIA “Kazinform” reports.

As explained by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yuri Ilyin, the agreements allow the parties to exchange experience in the field of forecasting emergencies, preparing the population for actions in case of their threat and occurrence. The agreements include the opportunity to train specialists in the field of civil protection in educational institutions of the States parties.

At the same time, the ratification of the agreements will make it possible to provide assistance in emergency situations on the territory of the parties. Emergency rescue units may cross the State border and import forces and means in the event of an emergency situation on the territory of the parties.
