The EAEU aviation enterprises are open for cooperation with Iran. This was stated by Mikhail Yusov, Deputy Head of the Department of Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at a round table within the framework of the 11th Iranian International Aerospace Exhibition Iran Air Show – 2022.

“Of course, it is useful to exchange experience with industry experts from a country that has been engaged in import substitution and diversification of supply lines for decades. This experience may be useful to aircraft manufacturers of the EAEU states who are faced with the difficult task of planning their activities in the current geopolitical conditions,” Mikhail Yusov said.

The experience of the Commission’s work within the framework of the implementation of the roadmap for expanding industrial cooperation in the field of civil aviation in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2022-2023 aroused great interest among representatives of Iranian state bodies and aviation enterprises.

According to the representative of the EEC, work in some areas contained in this document is possible with the involvement of third countries. First of all, we are talking about such a tool as the Eurasian Technology Platform “Civil Aviation”, approved in October this year.
