Domestic manufacturers face many problems when exporting products to foreign markets.
Trade representative offices of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan have been established in China, Turkey and Uzbekistan. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers notes, the goal is to increase the efficiency of foreign economic activity and ensure the protection of the foreign economic interests of the Kyrgyz Republic in other states.

“It should be noted that domestic producers, especially small and medium-sized businesses, face many problems when exporting products to foreign markets due to insufficient information about import procedures in other countries and the requirements of the foreign market. There are problems with finding trading partners, promoting their products. Entrepreneurs often do not have the opportunity and potential to conduct marketing research to determine the sales market,” the release says.

It was to solve these problems and promote the export of domestic products that it was decided to establish trade representative offices. The experience of other countries shows that the institute of trade representatives is a fairly effective mechanism for supporting exporters, the press service noted.
