Azerbaijan is currently negotiating with the Qatari company “Nebras Power” on various energy projects, including the project of a gas turbine power plant, which is planned to be built in Jasper.
According to the Report, this was stated by Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov during an event dedicated to the National Day of Qatar.
According to him, the main goal is to ensure the development of the renewable energy sector in Azerbaijan, and from this point of view, there are new opportunities for cooperation with the company “Nebras Power”.
P. Shakhbazov noted that now is the right time to establish energy cooperation within the framework of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum and in a new plane limited to trade in oil and gas products: “The development of the liberated territories by turning them into a “green” energy zone, as well as achieving “green growth” and a clean environment creates opportunities for cooperation.”
