The festival “Days of short films” opened in the cinema “Illusion”

On December 16, the International Festival “Days of Short Film” (Short Film Days), organized with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, opened in the capital’s Illusion cinema.

“Short Film Days is held with the aim of popularizing the short meter in the country – we help attract the viewer’s attention to new debut works and show him new names in cinema,” said Dmitry Yakunin, the general producer of the screening.

The opening film was the documentary four-part almanac “The House in my Head” by Andrey Bogatyreva, created with the assistance of the Regional Cinema Support Fund. The main character was the leader of the legendary group “Chaif” Vladimir Shakhrin. The plot focuses on the musician’s acquaintance with the house of his ancestors, located in the Sverdlovsk region.

The International Film Festival “Days of Short Film” (Short Film Days) will be held from December 16 to 21 in Moscow, and the “Echo” of the Festival until February 15 in more than 70 regions of Russia and 25 countries of the world. This year, the screening program includes 49 films from six countries, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and China.

The total prize fund was two million rubles.
