On December 19, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan (RUC) in Moscow, Ch.T.M. Jang, at his request.
During the conversation, topical issues of further development of Russian-South Sudanese cooperation in various fields, including strengthening coordination at the UN and other multilateral platforms, were discussed.
The sides exchanged views on the current domestic political situation in South Sudan. At the same time, it was stated that the gradual normalization of the situation in the Russian Federation opens up additional opportunities for intensifying trade, economic and humanitarian ties between our two countries.
