The impact of sanctions on the global food situation and Russia’s role in maintaining food security

On December 21, at 11:00, the press center of the Izvestia IC will host a presentation of the report of the MGIMO Institute of International Studies on the topic: “Food (non)security in 2022. Winners and losers in the sanctions war.”

Is it possible to achieve the goal of eliminating hunger by 2030? How will Russia ensure food security in modern geopolitical conditions? How have anti-Russian sanctions affected the global food situation? Who in the West benefits the most from the current food crisis?
