From December 12 to 19, 2022, a regular meeting of working groups in the Joint Tajik-Uzbek Demarcation Commission was held in Gulistan, Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the proposals of the Parties on the implementation of the project demarcation line of the Tajik-Uzbek State border were discussed.
During the negotiations, the Parties also summed up the results of the work done in 2022 and agreed on a schedule of meetings for 2023.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the meeting, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
The next meeting will take place on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
