The Bank of England introduced banknotes with the image of Charles III

Banknotes with a portrait of King Charles III were presented in the UK. The new design of British pounds was shown by the Bank of England.

The king’s face is depicted on banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20 and 50 pounds. They will go into circulation in mid-2024. Banknotes with the image of Elizabeth II will not go out of use, but dilapidated money will be replaced with new ones.
