The Federation Council approved a law – holders of citizenship of two states will be able to become employees in state bodies with some reservations
DUSHANBE— Sputnik reports . The law allowing people with dual citizenship to work in state and municipal institutions has been approved by the Federation Council of Russia.
It will be valid until June 30, 2024.
According to the new law, any Russian whose second citizenship has not been terminated for reasons beyond his control can become a civil servant.
It is specified that state and municipal employees, officials and employees who have citizenship of a foreign state will be able to serve or hold working positions until June 30, 2024.
In St. Petersburg, the number of vacancies for migrants in industry is increasing
If after this date they do not provide documents confirming the termination of foreign citizenship within 5 working days, they will be released from their posts unilaterally.
