Havana, December 26 (Prensa Latina) The XXIV International Craft Fair FIART 2022 will extend its exhibition and commercial purpose in the capital at the halls of the Cultural Exhibition, the organizing committee reports.

In its twenty-fourth edition, the meeting brings together the works of designers from the largest of the Antilles, as well as handicrafts from nine countries, presented in almost 300 exhibition points.

With the participation of national authors and foreign exhibitors, the event will open its doors until December 28 at the usual time, responding to requests from the general public.

Marked by a heterogeneous fusion of generations and artistic expressions, the exhibition is organized by the Cuban Foundation for Cultural Values (FCBC) and aims to become an “aesthetic compass for the country” with innovative utensils, products and clothing appropriate to the weather conditions on the island.

The Telarte initiative stands out, which promotes the use of plastic arts in textile prints, which prolongs its existence outside of galleries and museums, while at the same time being part of everyday objects of high aesthetic value.

Considered the main commercial exhibition center of its kind in Cuba and the Caribbean, Fiart accepts products from Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Russia, as well as from all Cuban provinces, institutions and other countries.
