On December 28, Lithuania’s Charge d’affaires in Russia, Jurgita Cibulskiene, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. A strong protest has been made to the Lithuanian side in connection with the unjustified expulsion on December 1 of this year of an employee of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius. As a retaliatory measure, one of the diplomats of the Lithuanian Embassy has been declared “persona non grata”, he must leave the territory of the Russian Federation within 5 days.
