Export Bahrain, the national export development organization, has invested more than $369 million in the development of the country’s exports since its establishment in 2018.

With the assistance of Export Bahrain, agreements were concluded with local and international partners aimed at supporting Bahraini exporters in the markets of 68 countries, including Cyprus, Algeria, Yemen, Nigeria, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Bosnia, Georgia and Taiwan. More than 10% of Bahrain’s exporters have entered new markets. The share of women entrepreneurs is more than 30% of the organization’s clients.

Abdullah bin Adel Fahro, Minister of Industry and Trade, said: “The fourth anniversary of Bahrain’s exports is a reminder of the efforts invested over the years, which ultimately led to positive results for the kingdom’s economy.”

Safa Sharif Abdul Khaliq, CEO of Bahrain exports, commented: “The fourth anniversary of Bahrain exports is a celebration and pride for all those who have participated in our journey over all these years to make Bahrain’s exports what they are today. We are determined to continue to provide the best support and services to our partners and customers for the development and prosperity of the national export environment. We also look forward to further providing and continuing support to promote the kingdom’s name in global markets.
