Kaliningrad Avtotor has returned to work, signed agreements with three Chinese companies, assembly has already begun: up to two thousand cars are planned to be produced by the end of the year, said the Governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov.
“I am glad to announce that Avtotor has returned to work. Indeed, three Chinese companies have signed agreements with them, and assembly is already underway, it began last week. By the end of the year, they plan to produce from 1.5 to 2 thousand cars,” Alikhanov said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
According to him, now there is a test assembly of cars. “Several hundred cars have already been released. Next year, the lower bar according to the plans is 50 thousand. But we are still aiming at 100 thousand cars a year,” the governor said.
