Negotiations are underway between Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on the creation of a “Turkic conglomerate of the automotive industry”. The information appeared the day before in the report of the Uzbekistan-24 TV channel.

The aim of the project being developed will be to increase the pace and volume of car production in the three previously mentioned countries. It is noted that when creating a conglomerate, existing large-node assembly plants in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will be transferred to a full cycle of transport production.

For Uzbekistan, participation in the development of the project opens up prospects for the spread of UzAvto Motors, an automobile brand that is produced in the country. The concern will also increase supplies to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan of components for new Chevrolet models.

Earlier it was reported about the launch of production at the renovated Moskvich automobile plant. The opening ceremony was attended by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and CEO of KAMAZ PJSC Sergey Kogogin.
