Investments in the amount of more than 23 billion rubles will be directed to the implementation of the project for the development of the tourist cluster of the Abrau-Durso resort in Krasnodar Region. In addition to the creation of accommodation facilities, it is planned to improve and build the supporting infrastructure, the press service of Abrau-Durso told reporters.

In early September, within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum, the Corporation “Tourism.RF” and “Abrau-Durso” signed an agreement on the implementation of an investment project for the development of a tourism cluster.

“23.2 billion is the cost of the project, taking into account the supporting infrastructure. 16.6 billion is the cost of 14 tourist infrastructure facilities. They include the restaurant 1,870 Abrau-Durso and the Abrau Light karaoke, which have already been put into operation, as well as the Abrau Light Hotel, glamping, activity park, children’s play space, the Old Town shopping and business space, the aquatermal complex, the Abrau Club apart-hotel, the Blue Lake Hotel, The Abrau Vita Longevity Center,” the report says, specifying that the list of facilities also includes two hotels for the construction of new and renovation of old infrastructure

According to the press service, over six billion rubles of investments will be directed to the construction and reconstruction of infrastructure, as well as ensuring transport accessibility of the resort area by the lake. These are the construction of a highway, the construction of a pier for boats, a pedestrian embankment around the lake, new parking lots, the laying of necessary utilities. Funds will also be allocated for cleaning the lake, creating an eco-trail and platforms for charging electric vehicles.

The priority task of the project will be to increase the own number of rooms in the tourist territory of Abrau-Durso — up to 704 rooms by 2030, including glamping. At the same time, an increase in the length of stay of tourists is predicted to average up to four, and in high season — up to six days. The creation of additional tourist activity facilities will significantly strengthen the “all-season potential” of the resort and distribute the tourist flow more evenly throughout the year, the press service added.
