Iran’s cultural adviser in Moscow, Masoud Ahmadvand, said that Iran and Russia plan to jointly produce television series in the near future.

This was stated by him on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of the Profit Film Company, one of the leading Russian companies producing feature films and TV series.

“A joint media committee has been established in Iran, which promotes cooperation between the two countries in the production of TV series. We hope that Russian and Iranian filmmakers will soon start working on a number of joint projects,” Ahmadvand said.

The Iranian Cultural Adviser expressed hope that joint projects with the Russian Federation will open a new chapter in cultural relations between the countries, as well as form a new way to familiarize the citizens of Iran and Russia with each other’s cultural realities directly, without the mediation of Western media.”
