Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi will pay an official visit to Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia from January 13 to 20

On January 11, an entry appeared on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of India about planning to pay an official visit to Guatemala, Cuba, El Salvador and Bolivia by the State Minister of Foreign Affairs and Culture of India Meenakshi Lekhi in the period from January 13 to 20.

During his visit to Cuba on January 13-14, 2023, the head of Indian diplomacy will meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly Esteban Lazo, Foreign Ministers Bruno Rodriguez and Culture Alpidio Alonso. It is also expected that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a meeting with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel

On January 15-17, 2023, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will arrive in Guatemala, where she will meet with President Alejandro Giammattei and Vice President Cesar Castillo, hold talks with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Health and Social Assistance, Energy and Mines. A meeting with the business community of Antigua is planned.

In San Salvador, on January 17-19, Meenakshi Lekhi will pay a visit to the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele and hold a series of meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Culture and Economy.

For the first time, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India will meet with Bolivian President Luis Alberto Arce Katakoru and hold meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Hydrocarbons and Energy of Bolivia.

Meenakshi Lekhi has scheduled meetings with the Indian diaspora and visits to events related to the culture of India.
