Passengers of long-distance trains formed by JSC “FPC” (a subsidiary of JSC “Russian Railways”) at the age of 60 in 2023 will be able to travel in compartment cars with a 15% discount.
The decision to provide a discount on the tariff plan “For passengers 60+” was made to increase the availability of travel for this category of citizens, which will allow them to travel within the country with greater comfort.
The tariff plan “For passengers 60+” will be valid for almost the entire 2023 year, with the exception of certain periods. Passengers can buy tickets now, and make trips – from January 10 to December 22 in the following calendar periods:
from 10.01.2023 to 21.02.2023;
from 28.02.2023 to 24.04.2023;
from 16.05.2023 to 31.05.2023;
from 16.09.2023 to 30.10.2023;
from 07.11.2023 to 21.12.2023.
Registration of discounted travel documents is possible no later than 7 days before the date of the trip.
To receive a discount at the ticket office, passengers simply need to present an identity document containing information about the date of birth. When issuing an electronic ticket, the discount will be applied automatically after entering information about the date of birth.
The discount cannot be combined with other special offers.

Recall that when buying tickets for high-speed trains “Sapsan” and “Swallow” of the formation of the Directorate of high-speed communication of JSC “Russian Railways” for passengers over 60 years old, a permanent discount of 30% is valid under the Senior tariff plan.
