On January 12, 2023, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming met with Permanent Representatives of the Member States at the SCO Secretariat at the Organization’s headquarters in Beijing.
The Secretary-General stressed the importance of the mechanism of permanent Representatives of Member States, which serves as a bridge for coordinating joint efforts in shaping the Agenda of the Organization and its further development.
The Permanent Representatives expressed their readiness to continue consultations in this format to discuss draft documents and consider other issues of the SCO’s current activities.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain a regular dialogue within this format.
