On January 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Moscow, Mohammed Al-Jaber, who conveyed a personal message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE, Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the conversation, topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Emirati relations were thoroughly discussed, including building up mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of trade, transport, industry, tourism and the oil and gas industry.
They also noted the importance of foreign policy coordination, primarily in the UN Security Council, and deepening dialogue at various levels on international and Middle Eastern issues of mutual interest.
