Carriers are offered assistance in the delivery of goods by road and through the river port.

According to the Information and Analytical Media Center of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC, on December 26-30, 2022, a meeting on railway issues was held between representatives of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in the city of Termez, where an action plan was agreed on the gradual implementation of technical works by Afghan railway workers on the territory of Afghanistan by February 1, 2023.

During the meeting, DP Sogdiana Trans and the Administration of the Afghan Railway mutually agreed on the list of works to be performed, as well as the cost of services, on the basis of which they agreed to sign a new contract by January 27 of this year and signed the corresponding protocol.

Due to the fact that the Afghan Railways Administration does not have time to implement the agreed measures on time, it is announced that rail transportation to Afghanistan will be suspended from February 1.

In order to support entrepreneurs, ensure the continuity of cargo transportation to Afghanistan and prevent the stagnation of essential goods transported to Afghanistan, Sogdiana Trans will provide practical assistance in the transportation of goods to Afghanistan by road from the logistics centers of Termez and through the Termez River Port.

Information about the opening of the Galaba–Hairaton railway will be updated.

As you know, the Hairaton–Mazar-I–Sharif railway in Afghanistan was built in 2010, and since 2011, all services of the Hairaton-Mazar-I-Sharif railway have been provided by Sogdiana Trans.
