On the meeting of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia M.L. Bogdanov with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in Moscow M.Paba Sale

On February 3, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Doyen of the African Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in Moscow Mahamat Paba Sale.

During the conversation, organizational and substantive aspects of preparations for the second Russia-Africa summit in St. Petersburg in July 2023 were discussed.

When considering topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Cameroonian relations, emphasis was placed on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres. The mood of Moscow and Yaounde to deepen political dialogue and strengthen coordination in the UN and other multilateral platforms on international and African issues of mutual interest was also confirmed.
