On February 3, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council decided to amend the Regulations on the development, financing and implementation of interstate programs and projects in the field of industry. This document has been in force within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union for five years, since February 2018, and now there is a need to adjust its individual norms.
The changes in some points contained in the document are dictated by the need to improve the quality of the elaboration of projects of intergovernmental programs at the initiation stage, as well as to stimulate their financing at the expense of extra-budgetary funds. This work was carried out by the Eurasian Economic Commission jointly with the authorized bodies of the EAEU countries. Drafts of relevant regulatory legal acts were submitted in 2022 for consideration by the Advisory Committee on Industry, the Board of the Commission and the Council of the Commission, where all changes were approved.

The Minister of Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the EEC Artak Kamalyan expressed confidence that timely and consistent improvement of the Regulations on interstate programs and projects will help the Commission to implement them together with the competent authorities, as well as representatives of the business community of the Union even faster, better and more efficiently.
