The NPO PRIMHIM company at the Nadezhdinskaya TOR will build the first hydrogen peroxide production in the Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV) reports. The implementation of the project will help to reduce the share of substances imported into Russia used in various sectors of the economy. The first stage of the plant will be put into operation in 2024, it will be able to produce from 20 tons of raw materials per month. According to the agreement with the KRDV, 44 million rubles will be invested in the project.

Oleg Dorozhko, General Director of NPO PRIMHIM LLC:

“Hydrogen peroxide is widely used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical and textile industries, as well as in other fields. Today in Russia, the bulk of hydrogen peroxide is produced in the Volga Federal District. A third of all raw materials consumed in the country are imported. The first such production will appear in the Far East in 2024. We will start producing from 20 tons of products per month, until 2028 we will systematically expand production and output volumes. This will meet the needs of regional producers in various industries and reduce the import of the substance.”
