Representatives of Bashkortostan headed by the Governor of the region Radiy Khabirov are on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Members of the delegation plan to hold a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of the country, the Head of the Republic said on his social networks the day before. The delegation, which aims to find new areas for Iranian-Bashkir cooperation, included heads of line ministries and representatives of local businesses.
“We are well aware that the economic structure of our countries is similar in many ways and we will be able to complement each other. This is especially important now, in the conditions of sanctions pressure on our states,” Khabirov wrote about the mission of the visit in his Telegram channel.
It is noted that one of the discussed areas in the interaction of the region with Iran will be an attempt to open Iran to residents of Bashkortostan. It is quite possible in this context to open direct flights in the direction of Ufa-Tehran.
