As you know, history is one of the criteria that determine the life of every nation. Being a reason for pride in the achievements of the past and the memory of past tragedies, it creates a space for self-determination of people as citizens. With such an eyeliner, “Embassy Life” publishes information about another attraction – the National Museum of Tajikistan. On its area of 24 thousand square meters (slightly more than half of the space is provided for the exposition), you can see exhibits related to the history of the country, starting from the III-IV centuries BC.

The National Museum of Tajikistan was founded on July 27, 2011. Its area is 24,000 m2, of which 15,000 m2 are intended for expositions. The museum has 22 exhibition halls, where the best masterpieces of the ancestors representing the history and civilization of the Tajik people are exhibited, including a Hellenistic statuette from Takhti-Sangin, III-IV centuries BC, a clay panel — Kafir-Kala, VII century AD.

A research department has been formed at the museum, where there are departments of written heritage, as well as exposition departments of nature, antiquity and the middle Ages, modern and modern history, fine and applied arts.

The electronic online publication “Embassy Life” expresses its gratitude To the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation for the information and media files provided.

The material was collected and processed by Sofia Chernopyatova.
