The consumer price index for goods and services in the Eurasian Economic Union in February 2023 compared to January 2023 amounted to 100.6%, from December 2022 – 101.5%.
Compared to December, there was a significant increase in prices for food products (by 2.3%) and for paid services (by 1.9%). Prices for non-food products increased by 0.4% during this period.
Higher than in the EEA, the increase in food prices was recorded in Kyrgyzstan (by 3.9%), Armenia (by 3.3%) and Kazakhstan (by 3%). The largest increase in prices for non–food products was noted in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (by 1.7% in each of the countries), for paid services – in Belarus (by 3.4%).
