Xi Jinping will arrive in Russia on a state visit on March 20

The two-day working trip of Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled for March 20-22, – the corresponding announcement of the event was published today on the Official website of the President of Russia. According to the press service of the Head of State, the Chinese leader will arrive in Russia at the invitation of Vladimir Putin.

“During the talks, topical issues of further development of comprehensive partnership relations and strategic cooperation between Russia and China will be discussed,” the publication says. Also during the state visit, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin will discuss cooperation between the two countries and its deepening.

Recall that the President of the People’s Republic of China was re-elected to his post on March 10 during the session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC). The visit to Russia will be Xi Jinping’s first working trip after his official appointment to the post.
