On March 20, in Cairo, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov met with the Chairman of the Arab Peace Group Ali Nasser Mohammed.
During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on the situation in and around the Republic of Yemen, with an emphasis on the need to ensure the cessation of hostilities throughout Yemen with an eye to a full-scale settlement of the Yemeni crisis.
The Russian side confirmed its readiness to continue contacts with all political forces of Yemen in order to find a consensus solution on a set of issues on the national agenda.
