Havatag Sanatorium
In a picturesque place of the city of Istaravshan there is a famous sanatorium, a physical clinic “Havatag” — a wellness center where you can relax and be treated during the summer season. In 1948, an oil exploration well with a depth of 1300 m was drilled here, as a result of which hot water came to the surface. Specialists began to study the chemical, physical and biological composition of water, it turned out that this water has medicinal properties.
Later, the healing water of Havataga began to be recommended for various diseases of the organs of support and movement, the peripheral nervous system and the skin.
An important role, as for all medical areas, is played by the climate here – it is cool in Havatag even in summer. According to geographical factors, Istaravshan is a mountainous area, so the air here is clean and pleasant.
The temperature of the thermal water that comes out of the source “Havatag” reaches 45 – 55 degrees Celsius.
Sanatorium “Zumrad”
Balneological resort area in Sughd region, 80 km from Khujand, is located in the southwestern part of the Fergana Valley. The climate here is continental: winters are mild, with unstable snow cover; summers are dry, hot. The average temperature in January is 2 ° C, and in July – 26 ° C.
The main natural healing factor is subthermal (up to 26 °C) methane chloride sodium sulfide boron waters (mineralization 85 — 130 g/l). The Obi Shifo mineral water deposit (discovered in 1968) is located 39 km west of Zumrad. Along with mineral water, sulfide silt mud is used as a natural healing factor, which is brought from Lake Oksukon, located 80 km northwest of the city of Isfara. Since 1976, a sanatorium has been operating for the treatment of patients with diseases of the organs of movement and support, cardiovascular and nervous systems, gynecological diseases.
The sanatorium “Bahoriston”
“Bahoriston” was built in 2011 on the shore of the Kayrakkum reservoir in the Sughd region of Tajikistan. The health resort specializes in the treatment of the respiratory system, cardioneurological and urological diseases. The latest equipment and experienced specialists will help to accurately diagnose and cure the disease.
