The head of Tajikistan responded to the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and flew to the Russian capital on a festive occasion
Sputnik Dushanbe reports. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon went on a working visit to Moscow.
It is expected that in the capital of the Russian Federation he will take part in the celebration of the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In addition, on the day of departure, the President of Tajikistan visited the Victory Park in the capital, where he laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame in memory of the fallen servicemen.
The country’s Defense Minister Sherali Mirzo, together with Rahmon, paid tribute to all the heroes of the Tajik people who gave their lives for freedom.
Recall that Vladimir Putin’s invitation to visit Moscow was made as part of a telephone conversation that took place between the heads of state.
Putin invited Rahmon to the Victory Day celebration
During the conversation, they also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
