Another Russian retailer, the L’Etoile cosmetics perfume store chain, plans to open a store in Uzbekistan, RIA Novosti reports with reference to an online recruitment and work service in the republic. hh.uz .
According to the agency, the company has started recruiting staff for the first store in Tashkent. In particular, the vacancy of the director of the first L’Etoile store in Tashkent was published on the website of the online agency.
L’Etoile is a large Russian chain of perfumery and cosmetics stores founded in 1997. The range of the chain includes brands with perfumes, decorative and care cosmetics, personal hygiene products.
In April 2022, another Russian retailer, Magnit, opened its first MCosmetic store in Uzbekistan. A year later, the network is already represented by more than 20 outlets in Tashkent and in the Tashkent region. By the end of 2023, it is planned to increase the number of stores in the republic to 80 outlets due to access to other regions of the country.
The Russian Wildberries marketplace also operates in the republic’s market, where Uzbek manufacturers’ products are becoming increasingly popular.
