On November 20, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin received the appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Russian Federation T. Bilgich at his request.
There was a discussion of topical issues of mutual interest on the international and regional agendas under consideration by the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly.
Particular attention was paid to the subject of the Istanbul Agreements of July 22, 2022 on ensuring unhindered access of grain and fertilizers to world markets, as well as the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, taking into account the ongoing escalation of violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, primarily in the Gaza Strip.
