On February 11, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Moscow Mohamed Mahmoud Dahi at his request.
During the conversation, topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Mauritanian relations were discussed, including maintaining a regular political dialogue on Middle Eastern and African issues of mutual interest. The mood of Moscow and Nouakchott to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic and other spheres was also confirmed.
